Making veggies re-usable is the theme for less waste on the planet – here I use the mushroom filling as a base for delicious vegan burgers!

Being an animal lover is not about saving some types of animals like just pets… and going out and eating other ones… We don’t need to do that anymore ! While there are perfectly wonderful VEGAN options! That way you give way to the regeneration of the entire planet ! Here’s an example of getting your burger more delicious than any other !

Take the mushroom filling from the day before saved in the fridge and …

Add lentils cooked until tender with a tablespoon each of onion and celery chopped fine , double cover height in water, about 10 after boiling. Set aside to cool before mixing in.

3 tablespoons of oats, 2 tablespoons of golden flax seeds, and enough garbanzo flour to soak up the moisture to form the paddies. Add salt , pepper, and cumin or curry or your favorite spices to create wonderful variations .

Create the paddies and leave them in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes – then cook in a pan with a small amount of oil until browned and cooked . Can save in the fridge cooked for up to 3 days. Serve with pesto sauce, mustard, kim chi … over a bed of  Swiss Chard or your favorite greens or with a gluten free vegan bread too ! And there’s even vegan cheese slices 😉
