Nauyaca Waterfalls by horseback
The impressive Nauyaca waterfall can be reached by horseback high in the mountains. This famous tour starts just 3 minutes up the main road from the Waterfall Villas. A refreshing swim in cool mountain water awaits you on this half day tour that includes breakfast and lunch.
Cost: $75 per person. Transfer to Tour is $30 each way.

White Water Rafting Adventures
In the many gorgeous rivers close by the Waterfall Villas. Your rafting operator will decide which is the best option given the conditions. Possibilities include the Guabo, Coto Brus and the Savegre River. Various levels of difficulty and rapids make each river a unique adrenaline rush. There will also be an opportunity to see allot of wildlife on your adventure. Lunch is included. Day trip from 6am. Ages are 14 an over, with swimming skills, and the ability to walk over slippery places.
Guabo & Coto Brus
This is the exhilarating, adrenaline rush tour that you have heard about! Both options are a must do for rafting power rush, and serious adventure! Up to level 4 waterways are available.
Savegre River Rafting Tour
Just up north about 30 minutes drive from Waterfall Villas – considered the most pristine waterway in Costa Rica.
Cost: $100 per person. Transfer to Tour is $20 each way.

Cano Island Reserve
Is one of the highlights of the Southern region of Costa Rica. This pristine national park has the most incredible diving and snorkeling in Costa Rica with 65 feet visibility. White sand beaches and crystalline water are only 15km from the shores of the Ballena National Park about 75 minutes from the shoreline. Here you can swim with dolphins, see turtles, glimpse at manta rays, and bask in vibrant colors amongst a plethora of tropical fish. This boat tour is spectacular! The tour will provide all of the required equipment. There will also be time to enjoy the beach. If you hike to the other side of the island you will view a very jagged coast. This island is uninhabited, and only the ranger is allowed to stay there over night. Lunch is included. Tour starts at 6am from the Waterfall Villas.
Cost: $125 per person for snorkeling. OR $150 for diving (2 tank dives). Transfer to Tour is included.

Corcovado National Park Tour
Begins by boat through the mangroves of Sierpe about 40 minutes’ drive from the Waterfall Villas. Tour leaves at 6am. You will also pass through the ocean just past the mangroves to enter to the closest park entrance. 3 hours of amazing hike with naturalist guide through the Park w/ lunch included. Many animals and including the Scarlet Macaws can be seen.
Cost: $125 per person. Transfer to Tour is included.

Dolphin & Whale Safari
Tour starts at the Ballena National Park – guaranteed to find Dolphins! Hundreds of pods of dolphins appear in the summer months of Feb – April. Migratory Whales sighted from July – Oct from the south pole migrations and visit in the hundreds. Also, again in March – April from the northern hemisphere. August and September is Whale breeding and birthing time. Over 250 of these mammals reach Dominical waters in August! Tour starts from the Ballena National Park where you will embark on a small boat with a guide to search the ocean for these magnificent animals. Sometimes can be seen breaching above the water! View many calves with mothers in September.

Kayaking to Ventanas Caves
Setting off from Playa Pinuelas in the Ballena Marine National Reserve your Kayak tour will be fully guided. You will pass by the famous sea arches, blow holes, and several wave carved caves that are sometimes reachable for a visit depending on the tides and the surf conditions. The trip is about 1 and 1/2 hours paddling each way. There may also be the possibility of snorkeling depending on the waves.

Mangrove Kayaking
Our guide takes you on adventure to a little know mystical worldeither in Matapalo or Sierpe, where huge mangrove forests dot the coastline of Costa Rica – full of rare animals and plants. You may see monkeys, alligators, and many rare birds such as blue herons and king fishers.

Catamaran Sunset Cruise
Starts from the Marina in Manuel Antonio, sails around the Islands of the Manuel Antonio park, watching dolphins swim in the boat’s wake, stops for snorkeling in a secluded bay to view a multitude of tropical fish. A wonderful tour that leaves at noon and returns after the sunsets. Includes an early dinner.

Horseback Sunset ride on the beach
Ballena beach is a lovely place to ride up the beach and enjoy the watching the surfers and the sunset. The Horse Ranch just a few minutes from Waterfall Villas south. *This tour does not have transportation included. Need a rental car or taxi service 20 minutes.

Horseback on Ballena National Park beach to the whale´s tail and in the jungle – This is a combination horseback tour that takes you into the mountains of Uvita and to the Ballena Beach park for a fabulous ride! *This tour does not have transportation included. Diamante Waterfalls by horseback is a tour that takes you deep into the rainforest to view a 800 ft waterfall of magnificent proportions. For experienced riders only. Surfing Lessons
In Dominical the waves are some of the best in Costa Rica. Dominical Beach offers the opportunity to learn how to surf – a new sport to enjoy. Private surf lessons are offered. You can even take a lesson from a female surfer, in case you want to learn to surf from this perspective. Surfer girls rock!

Reptilandia
Just 2 kilometers from Waterfall Villas a preservation and awareness park for rare reptiles – a wonderful way to learn about bio-diversity. *This tour does not have transportation included. Need a rental car or taxi service 3 minutes/ or you can also walk.
